Question 1 Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome in the garden on a leash, BUT not in the maze.
People either leave their dog in the car, tie them up in the garden or have one of their group mind them, while they are in the maze.
Question 2 How long does it take?
A session time of one and a half hours gives you plenty of time to do the maze and find all the clues in the maze hunt and play the carnival games dotted around the garden.
Question 3 Do I have to book?
It is advisable to book especially at busy times such as school holidays. We control the number of people here at any one time so that there is plenty of space and time for everyone to enjoy the maze and carnival games.
Question 4 Can I bring a picnic?
We don’t have picnics, as we have a limit on the number of people and the time they spend at Maze House. This means there is no congestion in the maze and plenty of space for your group to play all the games.
Question 5 Is this a good activity for toddlers?
Yes! Toddlers are often better than adults finding their way out of the maze. And there are lots of games and activities that are suitable for little people.
Question 6 Is Maze House a good activity in winter?
Maze House is a fun activity to do in winter. What could be better than rugging up and having some outdoor fun? When that is done head back to our cosy garden cafe for hot drinks and yummy cakes. Maze House is part of Ballarat’s Winter Festival which celebrates getting out and about in winter.
